A fun and different kind of project, then Mayor Willie Brown had Blow Up Lab make the “Herbie Awards.” He would give out those awards to recipients in honor of writer and SF Chronicle columnist Herb Caen. Later, we were asked to make George Shultz Awards in a similar manner. Both we created by printing and laminating on photo paper, mounting to gator board, then cutting and mounting to stands. Not sure what one had to do to receive one of these awards, but it was a fun project!
