Kryolan is the professional make-up brand loved and used by make-up artists worldwide. Their cosmetics are the leading brand for actors and performers in theatrical productions, films, television, opera and ballet. But their stores around the globe are also open to the public. Blow Up printed and installed all the backlit film shown here for their San Francisco and Chicago stores. All of these assorted sized images (We love the fabulous photo files they send us from their Berlin headquarters.) were printed on translucent film and directly installed onto their light boxes. We enjoy our on-going relationship with Kryolan since they are also our SOMA neighbors.
